The tubes going into the boiler, working from the bottom up. The crow bar is used to catch the tube that is being controlled from the smoke box, to help lift and guide it into the firebox tube plate.
The bottom nest of smoke (or small) tubes start to go into the boiler.
A batch of tubes await fitting, cleaned and free of rust or grease/oil.
32 Flue tubes, cut to length, awaiting annealing before fitting inside the boiler.
The linkage comes together on the boiler backhead.
